Please read the following submission guidelines and festival policies carefully before submitting your work to iFAC.

Important Submission Notes

iFAC is an international competitive film and cultural festival focused on independent voices, educational storytelling, social awareness, and human connection.

The festival combines award recognition, limited theatrical screenings, cultural interaction, and empowerment workshops for students, emerging creators, and film enthusiasts.

Screening Policy

Selected winning films may receive limited physical screening opportunities during the festival season in New Delhi, India.

Screenings may take place across multiple educational institutions, cultural venues, workshops, or partner spaces over an extended period following the official festival event.

Screening dates listed on the website are approximate and subject to programming schedules and venue availability.

Once a screening is officially confirmed, the respective filmmaker will be notified directly by the festival team.

Workshops & Creator Interaction

Filmmakers attending from within India may optionally express interest in participating in audience interaction sessions, student workshops, Q&A discussions, or creative talks associated with festival screenings.

iFAC encourages meaningful interaction between creators and emerging artists to inspire future storytellers and independent filmmakers.

DIGITAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Films must be submitted through an online screener platform such as FilmFreeway, Vimeo, YouTube, or equivalent secure viewing links.

Entrants confirm that they possess all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and ownership required for public screening and festival participation.

SUBTITLE POLICY

Films presented in languages other than English must include English subtitles.

Projects containing multiple languages are encouraged to maintain accessible subtitles wherever possible.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES

Multiple submissions are permitted.

Filmmakers may submit more than one project and may enter multiple categories where eligible.

CONTENT GUIDELINES

iFAC welcomes diverse artistic voices from around the world.

However, the festival reserves the right to reject submissions containing:

  • hate-driven content,

  • explicit exploitation,

  • unlawful material,

  • extreme graphic abuse,

  • plagiarism,

  • or content intended solely for harmful provocation rather than artistic or educational value."

PROMOTIONAL USAGE RIGHTS

By participating in iFAC, entrants grant the festival permission to use approved excerpts, stills, posters, trailers, titles, and promotional material strictly for festival publicity, educational outreach, social media promotion, and archival purposes.

Full ownership and copyright remain with the original creator.

SCREENING & ONLINE PROMOTION

Certain award-winning or specially recognized projects may receive additional promotional opportunities through iFAC educational showcases, partner screenings, interviews, or online promotional features.

Such opportunities are limited and remain subject to separate approval and communication with the filmmaker.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, iFAC does not provide travel, visa, hotel, or accommodation support for participating filmmakers or attendees.

AGE POLICY

iFAC is open to creators of all ages.

Participants under the age of 18 may be required to provide parent or guardian consent during submission or participation processes.
